GEAPS is a non-profit association serving the grain elevator and processing industry. We serve individuals in the grain handling industry by providing opportunities for networking, education and professional development. We are seeking a creative and energetic email and events marketing specialist and writer.
Do you have a passion for developing strategy, analyzing data and marketing services? GEAPS is seeking an experienced marketing specialist to join our Member Engagement Team to provide marketing strategy for and assist with developing and evaluating marketing campaigns for GEAPS’ programs, products, events and services. The Marketing Specialist will also focus on email, events and content writing.
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of 4-5 program throughout GEAPS. He or she will work collaboratively with other teams to plan and implement strategic marketing and communications campaigns to grow GEAPS membership, engage target audiences, foster greater visibility for programs and increase revenue opportunities. The Marketing Specialist will ensure that projects and campaigns are implemented in a timely manner, within budget and meet established goals.
The ideal candidate has experience collaborating with stakeholders and developing and executing marketing campaigns. This person will be comfortable employing the latest marketing tools to conduct day-to-day marketing activities, while developing long-term strategy and thriving with tight deadlines and evolving programs.
The successful candidate must be able to identify and compile outreach lists using database tools and mass marketing email platforms. The Marketing Specialist will also conduct market research as needed to help inform the development of activities, programs and products. This person will report to the Director of Member Engagement and work closely with the Communications Manager on daily activities.
Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in a marketing and/or communications-related field from four-year college or university; 2-5 years of marketing experience and prior association experience is preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated project management skills.
Remote work environment with potential for office space as needed. Some travel is required.
