ISMA’s Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and operationalizing the association’s marketing strategy in support and furtherance of the strategic goals of the ISMA Board of Directors. This includes: working with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors to develop and operationalize a marketing strategy for the association; researching and analyzing market trends, demographics, prospective members, and competitors; managing, writing and delivering content for the website, social media channels, digital promotional materials, and other marketing-related projects; working with members to develop thought leadership content based on member experience and other internal intellectual capital and data; developing an annual marketing budget in partnership with the Executive Director; developing, launching, and overseeing marketing campaigns and tracking and reporting data related to the same; managing relationships with external marketing partners; working closely with the Director of Education to market and promote ISMA events and other products; and working closely with the Executive Director and appropriate committees on new member recruitment efforts.

This position reports to the Executive Director.
All of the listed responsibilities are as directed by the Executive Director and the Board of Directors, and in collaboration with an external digital marketing firm, where appropriate.
