Position Title: Director of Marketing and Public Relations
The Director of Marketing and Public Relations will work towards executing the annual marketing and communications plan that drives visitation to the region and will work alongside the team to increase local spending. Additionally, the candidate should be motivated towards embracing our community and its tourism-related assets, as well as being a self-starter, team player, and outstanding leader.
The organization leans on vendors and the candidate must be able to manage and oversee several contracts. Marketing the destination is a fluid and exciting position. The candidate should be able to develop and implement changes to their work, as needed. It is vital that budget planning, creation of strategic and annual plans, communicating the work of the organization, and collaborating with community members to build partnerships are priorities brought to the table.
